The Guild is made up of many smaller, localized Neighborhood Groups. Each Group is run by the members in that Group and they plan their own programs. Many of the Groups are small enough that the members get to know each other quite well and become good friends. Meetings are devoted to a project, either as a demonstration or as a 'make it and take it'. Some projects are done in an evening and many take several meetings, as the members work together to learn new skills or improve on their skills as they teach others in the group. Any member may attend any Group meeting as none are restricted to a specific area. Members travel to other groups both to teach and to learn.
